The Legacy Expo Durham is coming in the Fall of 2026!

The Legacy Expo—created through a meaningful partnership between Damselfly Death Doula and The When You Die Project—is now expanding into Durham Region, with 

Soul Transition proudly serving as your local host. 

The Legacy Expo brings together a diverse group of organizations, professionals, and community members who are passionate about shifting the narrative around death and life transitions—from one of taboo and fear to one of openness, education, and shared understanding.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a wide range of service providers who support individuals and families through different stages of life, including:

• Community Support Organizations
• Downsizing specialists 
• Accessibility experts 
• Legacy and end-of-life planners 
• Retirement communities 
• Funeral professionals 
• Holistic and Therapeutic Practitioners 
• And many others that are dedicated to care, preparation, and meaningful living
